Shane Gillis Announces Massive 27-City Global Comedy Tour

Fresh off a wildly successful eight-city arena run, comedy sensation Shane Gillis is gearing up to take his jokes to a whole new level. Kicking off 2025 with the “Shane Gillis Live” tour, he’ll be performing in 27 cities across North America and Europe, bringing his signature humour to massive venues like never before.

The Biggest Tour of His Career

Out goes Gillis not simply on a road trip, but hitting the road big. It starts on January 10 in San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center and will go across both continents, with stops at such places as Dallas’ American Airlines Center and UK’s O2 Arena. For the first time, fans in Tampa, Dublin, and more can experience the stand-up powerhouse in massive arenas.

Notable tour stops include:

San Antonio, TX – Frost Bank Center on January 10
London, UK – The O2 on March 23
Dublin, Ireland – 3Arena on March 21

Riding High After a Netflix Hit

The tour follows the smashing success of Gillis’ Netflix special, Beautiful Dogs. The special cracked the Netflix Top 10 in five countries and held its ground on the U.S. Top 10 list for two straight weeks. Produced with All Things Comedy and Gillis’ own Dad Sick Productions, it cemented his status as a top-tier comedian.

And let’s not forget his February Saturday Night Live hosting gig, a full-circle moment after his rollercoaster experience with the show back in 2019. Even SNL creator Lorne Michaels expressed regret over his firing, saying he was “angry” with the decision.

From Speed Bump to Stand-Up Stardom

Gillis’ journey to comedy megastardom wasn’t without its bumps. He lost a job in Saturday Night Live in 2019 because of some podcast remarks and he saw it as a chance to propel him further. The Pennsylvania native released Shane Gillis: Live in Austin, a special produced independently, which was viewed over 30 million times and became one of Netflix’s biggest successes.

A Comedy Empire in the Making

Gillis’ comedic reach doesn’t stop at stand-up. He stars in the Netflix comedy series Tires, co-created with longtime collaborator John McKeever. They’re already deep into Season 2 production. On top of that, he co-hosts the wildly popular Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast with Matt McCusker, a show that boasts over 500 million downloads per month and ranks as the Number 1 Patreon podcast worldwide.
